Artist’s Statement

For many years I applied my trade as an interior designer. About 10 years ago I bought my first sewing machine and things have not been the same since.

My creations include scarves, wraps and all sorts of carry-bags. My artistry is manifested by my use of fabrics. Velours, silks, upholstery fabrics, beads and fancy fringes all combine for a dazzling display of colors and textures. I never make more than one of the same item in the same fabric - each is a CraftiBarb original!
