artist’s statement

For many years I plied my trade as an interior designer. About 10 years ago I bought my first sewing machine. Things have not been the same since. My creations include scarves, wraps and all sorts of carry-bags. My artistry is manifested by my use of fabrics. Velours, silks, upholstery fabrics, beads and fancy fringes all combine for a dazzling display of colors, and textures. I never makes more than one item of a kind from the same fabric. Each is an original.
